Free drinks, pizza & secret cheat codes to ensure they win the game.

“Love is a losing game”, so sang Amy Winehouse, but a London video gaming bar is aiming to flip the script by letting the unlucky in love play, eat and drink for free – and ensure they win every game.

‘Cheat Codes’, running 1st to 18th February, will provide bottomless drinks, pizzas – and crucially – the cheat codes to their most popular video games, ensuring anyone who has lost out in the game of love can level up and be a total boss when they are at Platform, London’s home of social gaming.

Over two weeks, covering Galentine’s and Valentine’s Day, Platform will be offering a limited number of booths which will be serviced to help mend hearts and elevate spirits.

Joe Hardie from Platform said: “This month can get a bit too loved up for some, so Platform is providing a space for those who have had the dirty done to them. Cheat Codes is on offer to anyone who wants to play alone, or bring a group of pals. Guests will be granted exclusive access to gaming booths for the evening, where they can be the player for once.”

Gamers will be served bottomless cocktails and ‘heart-smashed pizzas’ as part of the 90-minute booking.

Each booth comes stocked with a PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, an incredible library of the latest and classic video games, including Mario Kart, FIFA and Smash Bros, to exciting new classics like Overcooked, Gang Beasts and Rocket League.

Joe added: “This is a chance to rewrite the rules, turn the odds in their favour and experience the thrill of winning.”

Cheat Codes is available at Platform in both their Shoreditch and Canary Wharf locations.
