The Stafford London, renowned for its timeless elegance and exceptional hospitality, is launching new series of wine tasting events and wine dinners. The events, led by Head Sommelier Eugenio Egorov, will be hosted in the astonishing 380-year-old Wine Cellars of the five-star St James’s hotel.
The first event, on Monday 4 March, will be a Wine Pairing Dinner with Giovanni Gaja. Upon descending into the hotel’s historic Wine Cellars, guests will be treated to Champagne and canapes, followed by a four-course meal paired with Gaja’s world-class wines, presented by fifth-generation winemaker Giovanni Gaja himself. Highlights from the menu include The Game Bird Duck Pie with the chance to sample both the Barbaresco DOCG, Gaja, Piedmont, 2020 and Langhe-Barbaresco ‘Sori Tildin’, Piedmont, 2017 and a Cheese Selection alongside Langhe-Barolo ‘Sperss’ Gaja, Piedmont, 2001.
Tickets are priced at £299pp, including Champagne reception and four-course menu paired with seven Gaja wines, presented by Giovanni Gaja himself and hosted in The Stafford’s historic Wine Cellars.
