London, May 2024, Islay’s single malt whisky, Ardbeg, is thrilled to return to London to celebrate Ardbeg Day, the annual global celebration of all things Ardbeg held on the final Saturday of Islay’s Festival of Music and Malt (Fèis Ìle). Returning on 1st June 2024, this year’s London celebrations for Ardbeg Day will take place in Brick Lane, inviting whisky lovers to take part in an immersive Dark Circus inspired experience reflecting the brand’s latest and most eclectic limited-edition release, Ardbeg Spectacular.
Ardbeg Day 2024 promises a spectacle of flavours, and guests will be fully immersed in the captivating world of the Dark Circus. Whisky lovers are invited to enjoy entrancing theatrical performances, lively circus themed games including the ‘whisky wheel’ and ‘knock down Clown’, resident DJs, and a costume competition with prizes for the best circus attire. The venue will be decorated in a style reminiscent of a mystical circus, evoking a nostalgic charm to provide the perfect setting for guests to participate in an exclusive whisky tasting of Ardbeg’s multi-tiered range, and be entertained by acrobats, showmen and more through the day’s activities.
This year’s Ardbeg Day celebrations are inspired by the creation of Ardbeg’s limited edition single malt scotch whisky – Ardbeg Spectacular. For the first time ever Ardbeg’s whisky has been aged in port casks which brings a tumbling richness and an acrobatic twist of colour to the Islay malt.
Ardbeg Day 2024 celebrations will take place on Saturday 1st June 2024 at Cafe 1001, 91 Brick Lane London E1 6QL from 2-7pm, tickets are priced at £35, and will include admission to the event, two delicious Ardbeg whisky cocktails, including participation in all activities including the Ardbeg Spectacular whisky tasting, and circus-themed canapés and snacks. Ardbeg merchandise will also be available to purchase at the event for guests to top off a show stopping day.
