London’s favorite immersive dining and theatrical experience, Mamma Mia! The Party, isn’t going anywhere just yet. Due to overwhelming demand, this spectacular production has extended its run at The O2 until 31 December 2025.

The extension gives even more people a chance to experience this one-of-a-kind event combining storytelling, music, and cuisine.

Ian Kelsey Joins the Cast in February 2025

The role of Nikos, the heart of the taverna, will welcome a new performer in February 2025. Ian Kelsey, known for his roles in Coronation Street and Emmerdale, takes over from Antony Costa. His rich theater background includes performances in Chicago and Legally Blonde, ensuring he’ll bring fresh energy to the taverna.

Before Kelsey, Fed Zanni, the original Nikos, will reprise the role until 2 February 2025. Fans can enjoy Zanni’s classic interpretation before the exciting new chapter begins.

Experience ABBA’s Timeless Magic Like Never Before

Set on the beautiful island of Skopelos, Mamma Mia! The Party transports guests to a vibrant Greek taverna. With a carefully crafted four-course feast, the show immerses you in a romantic and uplifting narrative, complemented by ABBA’s biggest hits.

Songs like Mamma Mia and Dancing Queen set the scene for a night of joyous nostalgia. Once the story concludes, guests are invited to dance under the lights at an ABBA-themed disco.

ABBA’s Legacy Lives On at The O2

April 2025 will mark 50 years since the release of Mamma Mia!, while 2024 celebrated the anniversary of Waterloo. These milestones make it the perfect time to revisit ABBA’s musical brilliance.

Since opening in London in 2019, Mamma Mia! The Party has enchanted more than 500,000 guests. Its global appeal is undeniable, with visitors from 110 countries flocking to experience this cultural celebration.

Why This Extension Matters for London’s Theatre Scene
