Lift 109 Lates: Elevated Sound Bath

Battersea Power Station’s Lift 109 today announces the next instalment in the ‘Lift 109 Lates’ series of special after-hours events – ‘Elevated Sound Bath’. London’s highest sound bath will be hosted by leading sound therapist Farzana Ali at the top of the iconic Power Station’s north west chimney on Thursday 17th October and Thursday 24th October 2024.

A sound bath is a wellness practice in which participants are immersed in soothing sound waves. This heart-centred experience offers Lift 109 guests a chance to escape from the hustle and bustle as they invite calm and creativity into their lives. From 109 metres high, they will take in
the city lights, enhancing the rejuvenating effects of this meditative journey.

Farzana will use vibrantly colourful alchemy crystal singing bowls, to provide healing through sound, infused with intention. As guests ground their breath, their shoulders will relax and worries will fade away, all while enjoying the soothing soundscape and the mesmerising twinkle of the
London skyline.

Farzana Ali, Sound Therapist and Author leading Elevated Sound Baths at Lift 109, said: “Sound baths are an excellent way to calm the nervous system to make you feel rested and relaxed, while gazing into the distance is restful for the eyes which may be fatigued from staring at screens all day. When Lift 109 proposed combining these two wellness practices with the backdrop of the awe-inspiring lights of London, seen from the very top of Battersea Power Station’s chimney, I couldn’t wait to say yes!”
