“Get Well Kate”

The Visionary Brit Museum’s latest exhibition shows for the first time in public one of visionary artist Degard’s rare paintings of Kate Middleton, now Catherine, Princess of Wales, based on a photograph that was taken of her at the 2012 London Olympics. She was married to Prince William on 29th April 2011 – just over a year before this image was captured.
Simply titled Kate Middleton Aura, the painting shows Kate’s Aura when she was riding high and the mood of the nation was lifted by the success of the Olympics.
Painted 10 years ago the piece reveals that Catherine, now the Princess of Wales colour aura chart. A separate painting explains what each element of her Aura means.
Degard says:
“This painting and the accompanying aura explanation gives viewers an opportunity to explore the Princess of Wales’s aura to explore how she is finding inner strength through a tough period of illness. Her Aura reveals much healing which has been in progress for many years. This painting also shows the children who were about to arrive in her life and who we now know and love – George, Charlotte and Louis.”
