London is gearing up for an extraordinary cultural showcase this February. The “Heat Ukraine Now” exhibition and charity auction will bring a burst of warmth and creativity to Old Sessions House. Taking place from February 1-2, 2025, as part of the Kyiv Art Sessions Winter Season, this two-day event is more than just an art display—it’s a testament to resilience, hope, and the transformative power of art.

Why “Heat Ukraine Now” Matters

At a time when Ukraine faces unimaginable challenges, this exhibition offers Londoners a unique opportunity to experience the spirit and creativity of its people. Proceeds from the event will directly support the restoration of homes, hospitals, and other critical infrastructure destroyed by war. By purchasing a piece of art, attendees won’t just own a meaningful creation—they’ll provide warmth and hope to those enduring harsh conditions.

The Artistic Highlights: A Glimpse into Ukraine’s Soul

The exhibition promises a lineup of both emerging and renowned Ukrainian artists whose works capture the spirit and tenacity of the nation.

Oleksandr Dubovyk, a living legend of the Ukrainian avant-garde, brings his vibrant works that teeter between figurative and abstract art. Ganna Kryvolap, known for her stunning depictions of Kyiv, captures the challenges and resilience of the city during the ongoing war. Meanwhile, emerging talents like the Feldman Sisters, Bohdan Burenko, and Alexey Kondakov showcase the innovative voices shaping Ukraine’s art scene today.

In addition to painting, the event will feature the emotionally powerful photography of Serhiy Mykhalchuk, whose images document the resilience of Ukrainians amid the destruction of war.

A Unique Offering: War Fragments in Transparent Cubes

One of the exhibition’s most striking features is the War Fragments Museum. These are not just artifacts—they are visual testaments to the personal stories of survival. Encased in transparent cubes, each piece symbolizes the devastating impact of war while serving as a beacon of hope.

Cultural Immersion Beyond Art

The “Heat Ukraine Now” exhibition is not just about visual art. The event features a classical music concert on February 1, showcasing Ukraine’s finest musicians, violinist Bohdana Pivnenko and pianist Anna Khmara. On February 2, the program continues with a screening of the documentary People of Steel, directed by Ukrainian musician Serhii Fomenko. This moving film highlights the heroic defense of Mariupol and the sacrifices of Ukraine’s defenders.

The event will also include panel discussions exploring the intersections of art, culture, and humanitarian aid. Thought leaders and artists will delve into how creativity can amplify global awareness and inspire action.

Supporting a Greater Cause

Funds raised through the exhibition and charity auction will support two vital initiatives:
1. Insulate Ukraine: This program addresses the urgent need for insulation in homes impacted by war, helping Ukrainians endure harsh winter conditions.
2. PDMSh Mobile Hospital: The largest team of civilian medical volunteers in Ukraine, PDMSh saves lives on the frontline and develops innovative medical vehicles for war zones.

London, Let’s Stand with Ukraine

This winter, let’s rally behind a cause that blends art with action. The “Heat Ukraine Now” exhibition is not just an event—it’s a movement. Experience Ukrainian creativity, resilience, and spirit, and leave with more than just an artwork. Leave with a sense of purpose and a reminder that art can indeed change the world.
