Celebrate La Saint Valentin At La Poule Au Pot

Credit: Souffle

In celebration of the most romantic day of the year, charming French restaurant La Poule au Pot has put together a special Saint Valentin menu. The Belgravia institution – which first opened in 1962 and has changed very little since – offers a romantic and authentic re-creation of “paysan” France.

Only available on the evening of Wednesday, 14 February the beautiful menu will include 3 courses for £80. Diners will be able to choose from a variety of French classics, such as escargots (snails), coquilles Saint-Jacques (scallops), confit de canard (duck leg cooked in its own jus), pintade au Calvados (guinea fowl in a Calvados sauce, which is an apple brandy from Normandy), tarte tatin and mousse au chocolat.

With its intimate nooks and festoons of dried flowers and candles, La Poule au Pot is undeniably one of London’s most romantic restaurants. It’s open all-year, Monday to Sunday from noon until 10pm, should diners wish to visit the establishment on another occasion.
