Experience London’s Festive Magic From 109 Metres High

Credit: THE CAST

Lift 109 is a must-visit attraction in London, where visitors can experience a one-of-a-kind glass elevator ascent 109 metres to the top of Battersea Power Station’s north west chimney to take in spectacular 360-degree views of the city’s skyline.

A visit to Lift 109 begins in Battersea Power Station’s magnificent Art Deco Turbine Hall A where original records and state-of-the-art multimedia displays chart the building’s rich history, architectural significance and cultural heritage. Continuing onwards and upwards, visitors board the one-of-a-kind circular glass elevator, where rings of light and a soundscape reminiscent of rising energy guide the way as it makes its ascent of the Power Station’s north west chimney. Upon reaching the top, visitors can enjoy spectacular 360-degree views of the London skyline along with a very special bird’s eye view of the historic landmark that is Battersea Power Station.

The experience concludes at the curated Lift 109 Shop where visitors can purchase a keepsake of their visit.

Lift 109 also hosts a programme of special after-hours experiences, coined ‘Lift 109 Lates’, which see the chimney lift transform with each new event. Lift 109 Lates to date have included ‘Sundown Sessions’ – unique sky-high club nights, full moon manifestation workshops as well as special ascents for seasonal fireworks displays, with many more to come.
