Quill wine bar and Fables and Company launch an inspiring monthly event for self-reflection and creativity in the heart of London.

Borough Yards just got a little more magical. Quill wine bar, known for its blend of creative charm and historical elegance, is kicking off 2025 with an event that’s all about self-reflection and intention-setting. Starting January 27th, Fables and Company introduces their new monthly activation, “Letter to Your Future Self.”

Each month, participants will gather at Quill to pen a letter to their future selves. But this isn’t your typical journaling exercise. For just £20, attendees will receive a beautifully crafted wax-sealed letter-writing kit, paired with a drink of their choice. The best part? Your letter will be posted back to you a year later, serving as a gentle nudge to reflect on your goals and aspirations.

Why Attend the ‘Letter to Future Self’ Event?

In today’s chaotic, always-on world, finding a moment to pause can feel impossible. Quill’s event provides that rare opportunity to step back and reflect in a cozy, inspiring setting. Nestled near the historic Globe Theatre, the bar offers a literary atmosphere perfect for a Shakespearean-style letter-writing session.

Andrew Gray, Founder of Fables and Company, says, “Quill is all about creating spaces where wine and words collide to make magic happen. This event is the perfect way to set positive intentions while enjoying a relaxed, creative evening.”

Exclusive Perks for January Attendees

To sweeten the deal, Quill is offering 15% off Sundays and Mondays throughout January for newsletter subscribers. Sign up at Quill Wine Bar, book your table, and show the newsletter to staff to redeem your discount. Whether you’re diving into the letter-writing event or simply enjoying a glass of wine, it’s the perfect excuse to treat yourself.

More Creative Magic at Fables and Company

The team at Fables and Company doesn’t stop at letter-writing. Their trilogy of bars across London offers a range of interactive experiences designed to spark connection and creativity. Here’s what else you can expect in 2025:

Secret Notes at Plume & Quill: Every Tuesday, starting January 7th, send a secret note to a stranger and see where it leads. Originally launched at Plume in Covent Garden, this sell-out event is returning to both locations. Booking is essential—these nights fill up fast.

Secret Poet Nights: Let poet-in-residence Luke Erasmus craft a bespoke poem just for you. Whether it’s a whispered secret or a heartfelt dedication, these moments are available every Monday and Wednesday at Quill starting January 8th.

How to Get Involved

The “Letter to Future Self” event runs on the last Monday of every month, starting January 27th. Whether you’re planning your resolutions, reflecting on your journey, or just looking for a unique way to spend an evening, this event is a must-try.

Reservations for the inaugural event are open now, and with limited spaces available, early booking is highly recommended.
