Winter blues? Not at Westfield London. The iconic shopping and entertainment hub just upped its game with Here We Glow, a breathtaking light experience guaranteed to brighten your winter nights. Running from now until March 2nd, 2025, this free, family-friendly event transforms the season with captivating light installations from top UK and international artists. Forget boring nights in—this is the glow-up your winter desperately needs.

A Kaleidoscope of Light at Westfield London

London winters can be drab, but not this year. Here We Glow turns Westfield London into a wonderland of creativity and innovation. Featuring eight dazzling installations, this light art event showcases sustainable designs and uplifting themes. Bonus: five of these installations are UK premieres. Yes, you read that right—London is the first to see them!

This isn’t just another Instagrammable moment (though it’s definitely that too). The event highlights important themes like environmental awareness, making it the perfect mix of fun and thought-provoking. Whether you’re an art enthusiast, a sustainability advocate, or just someone who loves cool visuals, Here We Glow has something for everyone.

The Anooki: London Debut of Playful Climate Activists

Stealing the spotlight are the Anooki, two oversized Inuit-inspired figures that have dazzled audiences worldwide. Designed by French artists David Passegand and Moetu Batlle, these larger-than-life characters bring a mix of whimsy and environmental messaging to the Southern Terrace. Think of them as the climate-conscious light art we didn’t know we needed but absolutely adore. They’ve already lit up the Burj Khalifa and Lyon’s Fête des Lumières—now it’s London’s turn.

Other Highlights: From Bubbles to Tesserae

If oversized bubbles and glowing tesserae sound intriguing, you’re in for a treat. Evanescent by Atelier Sisu brings giant, 8m-tall bubble sculptures to Westfield Square. They shimmer by day and glow with internal lights by night, accompanied by a magical soundscape. Meanwhile, Tessellis by Angelo Bonello takes you on a geometric journey that blends ancient symbolism with futuristic vibes. Both installations promise to leave you awestruck.

And let’s not forget Shifting Visions by Adam Povey Lighting LTD. This reflective masterpiece in Westfield Square uses mirrors and lights to challenge your perspective. It’s interactive, immersive, and utterly unforgettable.

Sustainability Meets Creativity

One of the most impressive aspects of Here We Glow is its commitment to sustainability. The installations use environmentally friendly materials, making this event not just visually stunning but also eco-conscious. It’s art with a purpose, and we’re here for it.
