Festive Activities at The O2, North Greenwich Pier
The O2 is feeling merry this season as it brings London’s top choirs to the roof of the world’s most popular entertainment venue, 52 metres above the ground with Up at The O2. Light up winter with Battersea Power Station, Battersea Power Station Pier
From now until 4 January 2019, make sure to visit the Piazza to see Battersea Power Station’s interactive Christmas Tree created by Studio Bruyant. The photogenic installation creates patterns of light as different numbers of people approach it. People will even be able to explore underneath the tree to discover an immersive spider web of light.
Ice skating at Somerset House, Embankment Pier
Until 13 January 2019, head to the iconic Somerset House for ice skating on London’s most beautiful ice rink, with Skate Lates providing a fantastic soundtrack to the skate session. Afterwards, head to Fortnum & Mason Lodge to grab a drink and snack to warm up in the Skate Lounge.
Southbank Centre Winter Festival, London Eye (Waterloo) Pier
This season, Southbank Centre will be transformed into a winter fantasy. Offering family shows, twinkling lights, markets and much more until 6 January 2019. Eat, drink and be merry beside the River Thames with the return of the enchanting Winter Market and pop-ups, offering the very best in global street food, craft beers, cocktails, artisan gifts and more.
