Paul McCartney collaborates with street artist Mr Dane to create a mural in London

Paul McCartney has shared an exciting collaboration with the artist and art director Luke Warburton (Mr Dane) to coincide with the release of the 11th and 12th editions to his GRAMMY winning Archive Collection with Paul McCartney and Wings albums ‘Wild Life’ and ‘Red Rose Speedway’.

On the junction of Great Eastern St and Shoreditch High Street, Mr Dane has created a mural inspired by The Wings Over Europe tourbus and archive collection entitled ‘Wings 1971-73’.
Mr Dane’s artistic career started on the streets of London with a formal training in graffiti writing culture. Since those early days his artistic language has evolved to include design, sculpture and illustration.

He became well known for landmark exterior wall paintings and interactive public art pieces with his pioneering work signalproject.com during the emergence of the British street art movement.

Mr Dane is the co-author and illustrator of the acclaimed original street art colouring books London and NYC. His first children’s story book project ‘bouncing cats and boom pups ‘ has recently evolved into into a sell out immersive theatre show working alongside Maxwell Golden.
