Festive Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea at Sanderson

Sanderson hotel invites guests to discover a tea party full of imagination this Christmas, inspired by the whimsical world of Alice In Wonderland. The Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea includes festive savoury snacks bursting with flavour such as Smoked salmon tartlet with crème fraiche and caviar and Stack of King of Hearts turkey and stuffing with cranberry jelly.Sweet Christmas treats feature Mini Christmas Pudding and Alice’s eggnog ‘Drink Me’ potion. Priced at £58.00 per person, the celebratory tea includes a glass of Laurent-Perrier La Cuvee N.V. and is available on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

The World of Narnia at St Martins Lane

This festive season, St Martins Lane is welcoming the world of Narnia to the heart of the hotel. For those looking for a comforting shelter, Mr and Mrs Beaver are opening the doors to their cosy lodge at The Den to serve a Narnia-themed afternoon tea. Savoury nibbles include Ham, mushroom and cheese turnover  whilst themed sweet treats feature Aslan chocolate and caramel bonbon and The Wardrobe almond biscuit, pear and pecan cream. Priced at £29.50 per person, guests can add unlimited Hotel Chocolat hot chocolate making the price £40.00 or a glass of Laurent-Perrier Champagne for £42.50.

Festive Afternoon Tea at The Goring

What better way to celebrate the festive season than with a traditional Afternoon Tea in the luxurious setting of the five-star Goring Hotel. In the spirit of Christmas, the seasonal tea includes a raspberry and yoghurt Christmas present; caramelised apple snowman; Jivara chocolate gingerbread cake; almond praline choux bun and a bitter mandarin and white chocolate macaron as well as a whole host of sandwiches containing suitably festive fillings. For the ultimate indulgent experience, the tea can be complimented with a glass of Bollinger Special Cuvée Champagne.

The Afternoon Tea is £49pp or £59pp with a class of Bollinger, served daily in the Bar & Lounge between 3pm – 4pm and in the Dining Room on Saturdays from 1pm – 4pm.


Christmas Afternoon Tea at The Stafford

This Christmas, The Stafford hotel has given its afternoon tea a fabulously festive makeover. Until the 6th January the tea will be served in the Game Bird restaurant, including a whole host of savoury and sweet treats. Dainty finger sandwiches are filled with turkey & cranberry sauce, smoked salmon & cucumber and roast beef, and will be served alongside mince pies, scones, gingerbread men, Christmas cake and cinnamon macarons, as well as Christmas pudding cheesecake and chocolate and orange yule log. The Christmas afternoon tea is £40pp or £53pp with a glass of Moët & Chandon. Afternoon Tea is served between 12 – 7pm daily.
